I noticed that when I try to change my display pictures it does not actually get updated in the network. That is, my contacts still see my old display picture instead of the new one.

Can someone please help?

At times, your BBM avatar can take a while, even a couple days, to update across the network.

I upgraded my App World, the issue has been resolved....

I've noticed that some contacts pics don't update, only way to resolve to my knowledge is delete contact and re add on bbm

You can try a hard reset. That is, without turning of the phone, pull out your phones' cell (battery) and replace it. It reboots the phone; and will likely correct the error.

If any of you are in Europe, Middle East or Africa, there has been a known BBM service delay (and downtime) for some users. This would certainly prevent or delay updates of your BBM avatars.
