Re: BLACKBERRY OS 10

Wrong forum, I will ask for this question to be moved to the forum about Q10 phones rather than the Java developer forum.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Except in a very rare set, BB does not "pull" apps from the developers. Rather, the developers choose the specific BB device models and OS levels that they will support. Most do not choose to support them all, but only a subset. With BB10, this became even more complicated as apps cannot be simply "ported" to BB10...rather, they must be completely re-written from scratch.

In any event, the proper place to make inquiry is with the actual developers of the apps you desire...they control the situation, no one else.

BTW -- if you have apk files for the app, then there are ways to "side load" onto BB10 that did not exist with legacy devices. Hence, even if a native BB10 app does not exist, it is possible that the apk version could be used on the BB10 device. You can research further via google by searching on "BB10 side load" or something similar.

Good luck!
