Facebook Notifications



I have a problem with Facebook app which came preinstalled with my Z10.


I set the account to only show messages but it keeps showing notifications also in my hub. I turned the notifications off in accounts settings for facebook.


It's annoying and spamish so I turned this account off.


Is there any way how to deal with this issue?

I tried Facebook 10.2, the issue is still there.

What you mean by "that you contact your wireless service provider" ?



Its my internet provider? And if, how is he connected to Blackberry? This incident happens no matter of what wifi I am connected to.

hello rkuska, your wireless service provider is T-Mobile. Contact them by phone, and ask to be escalated to the BlackBerry Level 2 support team.
And then a BlackBerry employee will contact you, and work with you in order to understand what is happening.
This will help them reproduce the issue, acknowledge it through the public knowledge base, and then fix the issue.

Just curious if a solution to this can be posted or is everyone who has this problem supposed to report it to their provider.


It would be awesome to get facebook messages only (no other notifications) in my hub.  I have a Q10 and Facebook
