Re: 3rd party app

Yes, apps such as that can be installed using the loader.exe process using your PC, and you can also load using a properly formatted .jad file transferred to your BlackBerry.

If you need further info on either, please ask.

Re: 3rd party app

Please i need some info on it. i dont understand what u mean.

please note that i have successfully downloaded but i keeo getting some permission messages each time i want to use the app.

i use the same app on my andriod and there are no issues after setting the permission settings.

may i know the function of the permission settings on each drop down (connections, interactions and user data) on the blackberry. maybe i could then deduce what permissions to set or which one not to set.

or do you have another counsel that could work for me?

Re: 3rd party app

Ok, I see the 9900 in the approved models list. You have the 9900 Bold, right?

Secondly, what permission messages do you get on start up or installation of the application?

Re: 3rd party app

Yes. You are right! :smileyhappy:
The message i get is:
The application backup & restore has attempted to open local content. But it does not contain a signature. It might not be from a trusted source. Would you like to allow this? Yes or No”
