  • View sellers marked as favorites on the eBay web site
  • View searches saved on the eBay web site
  • Purchase an item immediately using the Buy It Now feature
  • Add an item to the watched items list
  • Purchase an item using a PayPal® account

Re: Announcing eBay® for BlackBerry® smartphones (beta)

Love the app so far (works great on my 8330 Curve)!

Are you taking suggestions for additional features?  Some really nice things (one already mentioned):

Search Completed Listings

See MY auctions (aka selling)

See MY messages (full send/receive would be awesome)

See MY account (pending stuff, etc)

Again, great tool and it's been a long time coming.  Very cool stuff so far.

Re: Announcing eBay® for BlackBerry® smartphones (beta)

The notifications feature seems buggy.  Today it sat with a flag in the screen header showing 2 Ebay notifications (the multicolored envelope).  I went on the Ebay app to find only 1 item in my watch list that was going to end in 4 hours.  The icon on the home screen went back to normal (no red asterisk) but the multicolored envelope in the header showed '2' notifications all day even after the watched item expired.

Had to turn off notifications to make the multicolored envelope disappear.  When I turned on notifications again, the multicolored envelope did not reappear.

Multicolored envelope should behave like other Blackberry notifications.  And or the user guide should help the user by telling them what to do to make the notification icon go away.

+ 1 for each item above.  Managing my for sale items via mobile would be immensely useful for handling user questions.

Also would like to see ability to "contact seller" to ask questions about items.  I failed to bid on 3 items over Xmas weekend because I couldn't ask the seller any details and totally forgot when I got back to the house.
