App World requires the latest version of BlackBerry ID

This is what happens when I open BB App World.


1. Icon on the upper left, besides it, it says.. BlackBerry ID

App World requires the latest version of BlackBerry ID.


then there are 2 buttons: Close, Update


2. When I click Update,

downloading... 0%


it never completed the download.


3. Then the screen says:

App World requires the latest version of BlackBerry ID.


Sorry, there is no compatible version of BlackBerry ID available at this time.


*This application may have limited functionality w/o the latest version of BlackBerry ID.


then there's the 'Close' button.


4. When I click the 'Close' button, I will be able to use App World, but when I tried to download something, ex: theme, it will go back to #1.


what should I do? I already tried to remove the battery numerous times, uninstall, reinstall, checked APN settings Enabled, typed Internet on APN field, protocol TLS,... And yet I'm still having same issues.. I can't download anything from App World because it's asking me to update BlackBerry ID.. :smileysad: HELP!!

I suggest re-installing BlackBerry World by going to www.blackberry.com/appworld/download and then restart the BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone and then connect to a Wi-Fi network and test the connection.
