BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

When I take a picture, and try to send it to a BBM contact, I receive an error "unsupported media".

If I exit the camera and go into the media folder to attempt to send it, I takes me to the spot where I can add text to the picture, but I am unable to scroll to the SEND button.  I can scroll back and forth from the text to the CANCEL button, but never to the send.

I had this same version in the Beta Zone (I believe it was 6.0.0.129) and never had any problem.

Re: BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

Hi Gkins3

Have you managed to find a solution to this as yet? I am experiencing the exact same problem. I simply cannot select the send button when trying to send a picture. Everything else sends perfectly fine.

Re: BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

I have the same problem as described above. The only thing is some pics it does let me send but for the most part it doesn't. And I can't seem to figure out what the reason is. RIM doesn't seem to be too concerned about it, and if this doesn't get resolved soon I think I am going to move to another phone. Other than this I've very rarely had problems with my bb, but this one surely takes the cake for me.

Re: BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

I can receive pictures, yes.

I have deleted and reinstalled BBM 3 times. For a very short time each reinstall I can send pictures, but a few hours later it stops working again. Each time.

Deleting and reinstalling and deleting and reinstalling and deleting and reinstalling is not a good solution.

Your just likely having some BBM server delay. Be patient and quit deleting and reinstalling. What it sounds like is some network problem at the time, if it works for a while, then does not.

Re: BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

No, its not a good solution, but when you've had this problem since the beta of .129 and it still rolls outt, you don't have much other choice.

And it is not a network problem or server delay. Patience goes out the window after a few months.

Re: BBM 6.0.0.129 Not Sending Pictures

The BBM beta .129 has not been out "a few months".

Was this happening on .125? You said above "I had this same version in the Beta Zone (I believe it was 6.0.0.129) and never had any problem."

So, I am confused as to what release this was or was not happening on.

I'd still recommendation some patience. :smileywink:
