BBM Voice Chat

Dear Support Team,

 

I trying to use my bbm voice chat but though i'm already connected to wi-fi, it says "Make sure you are connected to wi-fi and try again" and when i try to click the tel icon at the upper right corner it says "your voice chat connection cannot be established". The version i'm using is already ver.7.0.0.126

Is your tele icon green?

 

Try turning off and back on your WiFi connection and try again.

My tele icon is grey. Also when my wife is trying to call me it says "I'm unavailable". I tried turning the wi-fi off & on again and I even re started my mobile but the icon is still grey.

Well, that's what I'd do as well.

 

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

It must say "WiFi"

Well, that's good.. I don't know why the BBM Voice won't work.. it should be.

All I can recommend is to again, turn off and back on the Wifi connection again.

 

Did the BBM voice ever work, or just now right now?

You can always delete the BBMv7 on your device, reboot and reiisntall.

Actually this is my 1st time to use the voice chat. I'll try to delete the BBMv7 and install it again.

to delete an application (for example BBM7), from the home screen, go to the AppWorld, then in My World. In the installed apps, hover on the application, open the menu and select delete.
You may get an additional popup that asks if you wish to uninstall / delete / archive, just select the one that does not archive the app.
