BBM greyed out andunable to delete

I want to delete BBM as it's not appearing on my Playbook when bridged with my Torch (it was, but for some unknown reason is no longer there).

I've been advised to delete BBM and reinstall it, however, the delete option just is not there, neither when viewed in App world, nor under options-device-applications.

Help please.

Re: BBM greyed out andunable to delete

In your Options > Device > Applications, click the upper right drop-down box to ADD-ON.

Delete BBMessenger.

Then, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Now, from your BlackBerry browser, download the latest version from www.blackberry.com/messenger

The latest 5.0.3.22 is required for BBM on the Playbook.

Re: BBM greyed out andunable to delete

I could not find a drop down box to delete BBM. However I have downloaded and successfully installed the updated BBM with success. It now shows on the PB when bridged. Thank you for your help.
