BBM update failure and cannot go back to old BBM

I have updated my bbm to the new bbm 7 but I think I downloaded it for the wrong OS as my OS Is OS6 and my friend who sent me the link uses OS7 so when I downloaded it, my bbm icon got disappeared and when I deleted the app to reinstall it later from app world, app world is giving me an error: Blackberry Messenger is unavailabe for this device.

Please help, I need my BBM back.
