Can you connect to a WiFi source and try BBM?

Re: BBM7 "Setting up BBM" and then Blue Screen

I got the same problem.

I'd make the upgrade before. But today I make a mistake and I've reset my phone. And now, BBM isn't ok.

I've got the same problem. I see on App World a lot of people talk about this problem. I don't know so if it's a new problem.

I'm on wifi and the problem is still here. I can give more information if you want.

My question could be : is it possible to install an old version of BBM ? Where I can find it ?

Thank you.

Please look at your Options > BlackBerryID. Is that setup correctly? Can you access that screen?

  • What model Bold do you have?
  • On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?
  • What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

One thing you can try...

  • from your Options > Device > Applications, scroll to and delete the BlackBerry Messenger application.
  • Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
  • Once back up running, using the browser, go to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download and reinstall BBM again.
