When i updated bbm i opened it said setting bbm and froze

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

 

Do you currently have a data plan that includes the BlackBerry Internet Browsing service? Also try re-inserting the battery and then connect to a Wi-Fi network to complete the BlackBerry Messenger setup.
