Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

I downloaded the new update for BBM last night, think it's v.6.2.0.56 on my BlackBerry Bold 9900 Touch and when I restarted the device the application icon had disappeared. 

I looked through my downloads folder, in my media folder, applications folder. Nothing. I can't delete it and re-install it from the app world and it just comes up under the 'installed' list of things on my phone. I tried plugging it in to my computer and deleting the app from there, but it comes up with a message saying something about 'unexpected independencies' and wont remove it. I'm working off of a Mac so I don't know if that's an issue? 

Has anyone else experienced this? 

Does anyone know how I could fix it?

I would suggest this:

1. Go to Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger application and don't click on it, just scroll to it. Click Menu > Delete and remove the application.
2. Now, do a reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
3. Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download/install the Messenger application again.
4. After installation and possibly another reboot, check your Instant Messaging Folder, or Downloads folder for the application.

I'm using BB 8900, it has Blackberry App world Version 3.0 and doesn't have all the apps that I need. How do I upgrade to a recent version?

PicMix, photoFunia ,Wikitude and they are unavalable because that version of BB app world is old.

Nope, doesn't work that way, and besides, you're posting in a thread about BlackBerry Messenger.

open your AppWorld

go to MyWorld

Click the Menu key > Refresh list'

and your previously installed apps should appear.

They are there but under the 'Unavalable' folder

That should mean they are unavailable for that specific device, geographic area/country, or your mobile provider.

And evething I download it doesn't wanna open, shows this popout 'Error starting ScreenMuncher: Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.Virtual Keyboard' not found. Please help.
