I upgraded to facebook 2.0.0.37 and since then I can't check-in on FB Places. Application displays the message: Unable to retreive your location, try again later. Any solution? Could I get back to older version? I have a BB 9700, v 5.0.0.602 (plataform 5.0.1.112) Please, help! Thanks.
I have the same problem and have tried all the solutions like downloading maps, checking that gps is on, opening gps and having it connect to satellite and then switching to FB but nothing works! Someone please help.
I am also getting the same error message...if anyone knows of any fixes, please let me know! If the bug doesn't get fixed, does anyone know how to downgrade to the older version since that worked at least?
So I'm having the same issue since I downloaded the new app too!!! It's irritating...hopefully someone will eventually rectify the problem, so that we are no longer inconvenienced!
I'm having the same problem...BB Bold 9700. I've confirmed that my GPS is enabled for location aiding and the "share my location with facebook" option is also marked. Please help!!!
I've been having the same problem. I went to the MENU button on my blackberry (button with blackberry logo), select Options, select Advanced Options, select GPS. Set GPS Services to "Location On", press Menu, then Save. I am now able to check in to places on facebook!! I hope this helps someone!
