Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® smartphones

I am not sure who to send this to but something needs to be done about the drivesafely app made by ispeech.org. I downloaded it and immediately got spam texts from facebook and twitter. I also texted friends and without my knowing they received text messages saying it was from me telling them to check out this application. I believe a warning or some sort definitely needs to be placed on this application if not completely removed. I find it incredibly disturbing that one of the applications on app world  would be capable of sending messages from my phone to my contact list that i did not create under the illusion of being from me.

Really? I am surprised because I have not had any issues with DriveSafe.ly app nor have I heard anything but great things about it.

I love the app it works amazingly!

U need to go to advanced options and turn auto reply OFF....and the signature deal. It will automatically respond to your text messages advertising drivesafe.ly....

just turn it off in advanced options.

I am glad to read this post. I downloaded it before xmas and actually loved it, though two things happened. One, the application kept locking up the entire blackberry. Two and I didn't think it was connected I started getting some SPAM that was way too personal from someone I didn't know at exactly the same time. Again I didn't link it but it is probably the same.

I like this app but it rain my battery faster, beside that, it is cool.
