ERROR 80003

I was given a curve. just so that I can bridge to my playbook.

This is what I have done:

Updated

rebooted

taken out battery and reinstalled

changed  my tcp/ip to enable apn

I at first had problems downloading App world. So know I have the icon and I can see that I have it, but when I try to open it it says " A Blackberry  identity update is needed, Would you like to install it now?"

I say "yes"

Then it downloads the blackberry id

and then it says "Blackberry Identity installation failed. Please try again later (80003).   Help

I have tried everything that I have read in the forums.

The same has happened to my Curve 8520 at the beginning of Dec 2011. I have no clue bout what to do. Please, can someone tell me what to do. I received a notification to upgrade my BB App World, but as soon as I did it, the"80003" error message came up, and I have been getting it ever since, everytime I try to download BB App World. Is there anyone from South Africa who can help me p-l-e-a-s-e....

I got mine fixed.   What I ended up doing is going through wifi and it took right away..........

As mentioned previously I ended up going through a wifi hook up instead of the regular connection and it worked fine....finaly after trying for several days

Did you turn off the internet and use WIFI. This is how I finally got it to work.   and it went in right away.

go to setup

then go to setup wizard

 

then go to wifi  follow thw prompt

 

then you go to connections and turn on wifi.

 

go somewhere were there is wifi and try it again  (stARBUCKS, mACDONALDS)
