Re: ERROR 80003

Activate your Wi-Fi (provided you have a wifi connection), go back to your app world and download. The connection is too slow and needs a faster connection to download the ID.

Re: ERROR 80003

http://santo.asia/repository/bb-file/BlackBerryAppWorld.3.0.1.29.OS5/AppWorld.jad. No need for Wi Fi or anything els. Just install the App Word from the link and all is well. This is the App World just befor the bad update. If it asks to replace the module, say yes. Make sure it install completely. Me and 4 other friends fixed our BB. The identity update error 80003 wil be gone. Just one thing, don't update again.

Re: ERROR 80003

After it downloaded the blackberry ID, did it give you the option to reset you blackberry?

Mine gave me the option to reset, so i did. Now my phone has got a blank screen, and the light just flashes red.

Is that normal?

Follow this link, there a step by step guide to help you!

Then reset, which takes forever, so just take ur battery out and reboot as normal. It should work then.

Re: ERROR 80003

was given a curve. just so that I can bridge to my playbook.

This is what I have done:

Updated

rebooted

taken out battery and reinstalled

changed  my tcp/ip to enable apn

I at first had problems downloading App world. So know I have the icon and I can see that I have it, but when I try to open it it says " A Blackberry  identity update is needed, Would you like to install it now?"

I say "yes"

Then it downloads the blackberry id

and then it says "Blackberry Identity installation failed. Please try again later (80003).   Help

I have tried everything that I have read in the forums.
