Activate your Wi-Fi (provided you have a wifi connection), go back to your app world and download. The connection is too slow and needs a faster connection to download the ID.

Hello Fellow BlackBerry User, In regards to you Question, I have compiled my own website with a step by step guide to fix your query about the "ID Update Server" problem for App World. Works 100% and no need to go to a hot spot, nor do any un-installing... Here is the link:

After it downloaded the blackberry ID, did it give you the option to reset you blackberry?
Mine gave me the option to reset, so i did. Now my phone has got a blank screen, and the light just flashes red.
Is that normal?

Follow this link, there a step by step guide to help you!
Then reset, which takes forever, so just take ur battery out and reboot as normal. It should work then.
