Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

I got the notification that there was a new Facebook for Blackberry on my Bold 9700.

I proceeded to download and install the app. Each time I've tried this I've gotten, "the application was successfully installed."

The app shows in my list of "add-ons" in the applications list but there is no icon in any folder or on any screen (even with "show all").

My only available choices in the application list are "delete" and "edit permissions".

Anyone have any idea where the app is? Or is it time to leave blackberry once and for all?

Did you tried device reboot. Follow the below step -

When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

I've done that five times -- including once after I got a pop up that said, "device needs to reboot". No joy.
