I have a facebook notification on my home screen "2f"  I have tried everything to clear this and have not been successful.  I have downloaded the newest version.  Checked my messages and notifications from my phone.  What else can I do?  I have had this application for several weeks now and this "2f" just appeared a few days ago.

I have the exact problem.. a Facebook notificatioin stuck on my homescreen "1f".  Been there ever since I updated my Blackberry to the latest version.

LOL... Just fixed it!

Went to Facebook ~~> Messages ~~> Scrolled down to the end of the list of messages.. and there it was. An unread message.. opened that message.. Closed Facebook.. Went to home screen.  Facebook notification is gone. Duh!

Since downloading the new Facebook a few weeks ago (which is useless) I have three 'friend request' notification icons stuck on my screen. I've dealt with these requests on my laptop but the notification icon will not go from the screen on my blackberry.

on your BlackBerry phone, go into the Facebook app, and log out.
Then close Facebook.

Then open Facebook again, then in the options, log in again.

Thanks but I had already tried that, it didn't work. I have now solved the problem but totally uninstalling Facebook than reinstalling.
