Facetime type application for Blackberry

Greetings all

I see that iPhone 4's Facetime app is becoming popular. Does anyone know if RIM have a similar app (or plan to) for Blackberry devices?

Re: Facetime type application for Blackberry

Hello, I am a BLACKBERRY die hard fan! And my husband stands by android. He is now able to video chat and video call face time users. When will the PLAYBOOK have an app that allows us to video chat or video call iphone and android users?

Currently, Apple Facetime allows iOS users to do video chat with another iOS user.

Currently, BlackBerry Video Chat allows Playbook users to do video chat with another PlayBook user.

if you want a PlayBook user and an iPad user to do videochat, you need a common protocol and a client avaialble on each side.

you can look at ReelPortal, and "AV BY AOL". Both work on the BlackBerry PlayBook, and I think they also work correctly on the iPad.

http://www.aol.com/av/  (app in the browser, no install)
