Available at Blackberry App World is Trimble's Geocache Navigator. It is one of the pricier downloads (I am still on the free trial) but I will definitely be purchasing it. There have been posts complaining about the acquisition time for the satellites, accuracy of the fix once satellites are acquired and the speed of the update while being used. I found absolutely no issues whatsoever with the onboard GPS of the Storm. Acquisition was very rapid, the integration with Geocache Navigator was seamless. The update in location fix was in real time and the fix was as accurate as you can get. When the device told me I was on top of the cache I was literally on top of the cache! Some of you might be old enough to remember when the Department of Defense required that civilian GPS applications have a built in degree of "inaccuracy" through what was called Selective Availability. Device makers had to purposefully have their device degrade the location fix so as not to be as accurate as the military devices. That requirement was removed some years ago when the "Cold War" came to an end. If you want to have an application that can be a great deal of fun, is easy to use, and is well worth the money, you cannot go wrong with Geocache Navigator. Now to go and log in my first find...
