JSanders, I was able to solve the problem!  I had to go to the applications menu and uninstall App World from there, not simply delete it from the icon.  Then I was able to download the older version through the santo link you sent.  And it worked like a charm!  Now my other apps are working fine again.  Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Great, that is the correct place to delete AppWorld from.

I need more of your expert assistance please:

I'm going thru this happily ever after getting my BB App world to work again thanks to yo expert advise...but I now encounter receiving messages which are forcing me to download the latest version of BB Appworld which was the problem causer in the first place.

These prompts won't let u not choose the option. You either have to upgrade or cancel. If u cancel, your entire App world browser closes and you can't do anything from there anymore.

Do you have a solution?

Good question.

I wonder what would happen if you did upgrade, and you find this new version now DOES indeed work?

If not, come back here and download the old version again.

Hey my app world doesn't want to work so I tried ur link but when it comes to the middle it says replace or cancel bt if I choose either one then its says download cancelled pls help

You should choose to replace.

• Delete the other first if you want, from Options > Advanced > Applications.
• Then, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
• Now reinstall from the earlier link.
