Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

I currently live in Thailand, and have purchased the Curve 8900 with AIS BB service. I would like to aquire the BB app world but since its not supported here it will not let me download the app via device or pc. I have a U.S. based paypel account so i have no problems paying for apps.....its just a matter of getting the App program onto my device. I heard of OTA loader but not sure how to use, and could not find a site other than the BB site that has the .jad file? any suggestions

I don't think having a link will allow you to download the App world in your device. However, if you collect a BlackBerry provisioned SIM card of those carriers that have access to app world and use their SIM in your device to download App World.

By the way there is no assurance on whether the service will work or not when you'll insert your own SIM card. If you're able to install it then please share your experience.

Supposedly their is some links for the BB app world that is not downloaded from the BB site, and can be download via a OTA downloader. Unfortunately the one I found seems the link is no good.

Once the BB App World is downloaded, apparently it works just fine. I have friend who had it done.

Using a U.S. based carrier sim should work but unfortunately i do not have acess to one.

Well in such case you won't be able purchase any application using App World.
