How to subscribe to podcasts? App stopped working

Hello!

 

I had to replace my BB Bold because of damage (same model), and the podcast app didn't work on my replacement phone.  

 

I have tried downloading the podcast app from the app store, but that just succeeded in getting me a useless search function.  

 

Has anyone found a good workaround to get your subscriptions back? If so, please give basic and detailed descriptions, I am not super savvy with this phone.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Thanks for the question.

 

The BlackBerry Podcast catalog was discontinued back in April of 2012, you will need to manually add the RSS Feed or URL for the podcast.

 

In BlackBerry Podcasts, press Menu>Add Podcast RSS and place in the URL.
