You have posted a declarative sentence and not a question.
For anyone to be of any assistance we need details.
What steps have you taken to download these two applications? I am assuming you used BB App World.
I have both on my Storm downloaded from BB App World and there were no problems whatsoever.
I have since deleted Vlingo as it didn't really do anything I felt worth the application memory space but Weatherbug is running like a champ. Vlingo by the way worked flawlessly but I decided I wanted the memory and not the application.

I had the same problem. I had it previously on my Storm 2. HOWEVER, WHEN BB ISSUED ITS LATEST OS, VERSION 6, this new OS kicked out all my 3rd party apps and I had to re-register, if not re-install all my apps. All but the demo version of Vlingo went well. Vlingo kept freezing up on step 6...the contact list. When I contacted Vlingo support, they indicated that BB's new version 6.0, this is what Vlingo said,
"Apologies about the contact sync problems. You mentioned that you loaded the "newest updated version of its OS." For your information, we are only able to support BlackBerry OS 6.0 on the Torch at this time, so it may take us some time to resolve this issue if you are using OS 6.0."
Until they can support BB version 6.0 on the Storm 2, I am forced to delete it.
Or change back to my last previous OS version.
No, I did not back up my apps before I updated to 6.0
