Hi there!
The application developers are responsible for updating their apps for new model BB's, OS levels, and other things. Each developer makes their own choices as to which BB models/OS levels they shall support. Whenever new models/OS levels are released, the app developers must make choices as to what they will support, and then release those that they choose to. The on-device interface to AppWorld is designed to only show you apps that are compatible with your BB model -- so if the interface is not showing you an app, then the developer has not yet completed the process of updating and releasing it through AppWorld (assuming they have chosen to do so). For specific apps that you desire, you might wish to contact the developers and find out where they stand in their process.

button inside of their post. Further, if you are the original poster (OP) and your issue is solved, please remember to (on the post that is the solution) click the "Accept as Solution" button so that others can more easily find it. Cheers! Oh...and FWIW...I am not a RIM employee...and these forums are user-to-user...not user-to-RIM.

to make things short :
when an editor publishes an application in AppWorld, he fills in a whitelist of the compatible devices. At that time, some devices may not be available yet (like the Storm 2 or the Bold 2).
If the editor does not really care, or if the application needs some upgrading so that it is available for new devices, then the white list stays unchanged.
that is what happends currently.
