I ordered vlingo from blackberry app world. A week or so after I downloaded it to my new blackberry, i had to wipe the drive because i had some problems, and then tmobile replaced it. I have tried to download it to my new phone, but it won't work. I only had it for barely a month and now i've lost it...and i lost my job and don't want to pay for it again. How can i download itt again if it doesn't show up in my blackberry app world account? Lori Brazeal

Hi there!

To re-install your apps, please follow this section of the AppWorld user guide:

For more registration key information, see this KB:

In addition...RIM has released AppWorld version 1.1.0.15...it is highly recommended to be on that version.

If that does not work, then please return to these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and register an account so that we can provide you with direct assistance.

Cheers!

Re: I ordered vlingo from blackberry app world. A week or s...

I see multiple posts of people having the same problem with Vlingo (unable to activate on newer phone) and I keep seeing the same replys from moderators. Links to how to transfer apps and links to knowledge bases for activating vlingo.

I have worked on un installing app world and Vlingo and re installing. Battery pulls, followed a hundred links, contacted Vlingo and App world. Vlingo sends me to blackberry app world for help and app world sends me to Vlingo. Not yet has anyone actually got me up and running  Just running around. I have wasted hours on a Flippin $20 app just for the sake of not having to buy it again.

Now For goodness sake please help me get this freekin app working. I purchased it from app world. Changed phones to storm 2 and now cannot get it to activate. I have the latest version of both app world and Vlingo. My app world shows it being installed and my phone shows it too. I can use the free stuff but when i try email, it prompts me to buy or register Supposedly it has no key. Voice activated  It no worky. Please dont send me another link to the same kb that everyone gets when they ask for help. Been there done that. IT DONT HELP!

 Thanks in advance

hello springnut,

I can understand your frustration. First thing : the solution pasted by SDGardne seems to work for most people, so if it does not work for you, you should really contact VLingo again.

As you have noted in your message, this issue concerns, well, only the VLingo application, who wanted to make something easy for their users by not requiring a key lock.

I don't think any one on the current forum can give you more a precise solution than SDGardne.
