What type of Transport Layer Security does GTalk for BB uses? Is the traffic encrypted?

I did. They referred me to this BB Support Community, since the GTalk for BBs is developed by RIM.

all Google Talk clients have the same encrypted connection with the Google Talk servers, except the client in Google Mail (the one that can do webcams). it's the same for the GTalk client for BlackBerry. I don't know if it's TLS, bt they should know what the requirements to be declared as a Google Talk client are !
