Issue with Facebook text and notifications - Blackberry Bold 9900

Dear Users,

 

I have recently upgraded to a Blackberry Bold 9900 and used to receive both text messages and notifications on my phone until recently.

 

I have deleted the application from my phone and also deleted my phone details from the facebook website. Re-booted my phone and then re-entered my phone details on the facebook website and re-installed the application on my phone to no avail.

 

Blackberry 9900  7.0 Bundle 2406 (v7.0.0.585, Platform 5.0.0.734)

Facebook v.2.0.0.58

 

Can anyone advise me as to how to rectify the problem?
