The only "site" that RIM formally advocates is their own AppWorld. But, AppWorld is technically a storefront, vending apps that are developed by others. As long as a developer has not entered into an exclusive arrangement with RIM, you may well find their app elsewhere. Plus, there are other storefront sites out on the internet as well...search and ye shall find, I am sure.
