Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

I've tried installing the NY Times shortcut on my Curve, and also Audible's Blackberry app.  The NYTimes app tells me that it doesn't support my device.  The Audible app tells me that my device is a Windows Mobile 5.0 pocket pc!  Any ideas on how to fix this?

For both, you need the specific application for the BlackBerry.

I know both the NYT and Audible have BlackBerry-specific applications.

Yes, I was trying to install the blackberry versions.  I finally figured out the problem.  For the blackberry browser, in Optons/browser configuration, at the bottom of the screen there's an emulation mode setting.  I had this set to Internet Explorer.  When I changed it to Blackberry, the programs installed correctly.
