I’m using Upvise, created a lot of Notes, then the Blackberry crashed and I had to do a new install of the OS and a Restore. Then – BAM – all the Notes are gone. Upvise support says – too bad, you used it in Offline mode, instead of Online where all the Notes are saved to the cloud, so the Notes are all GONE.
What I don’t get is why it always found the Notes in Offline mode, but they didn’t get saved when I did a Backup. I used Upvise for weeks in Offline mode, created many Notes, did many battery pulls (usually daily, at least). Always the Notes were there. I backed up regularly, too.
So where is this data on the device in Offline mode and why is it not saved in the Backup? It MUST be stored somewhere, otherwise how could the Blackberry find it after each battery pull?
I’m guessing this is a Blackberry OS issue and is not unique to this Upvise app – i.e. there is info, data, etc. stored in some mystical place that I’ll lose if I don’t manage it right – and I assumed Backup would do this. NOT SO???
HELP!

where is the data stored... is known by Upvise editors only. You should ask them directly.
Some editors store information in the Application memory, others on the device memory, and some even on the Memory card.
