Hello!
I read about the BBM 7.0 update last night and also read that it may take 24-hrs to appear on App World. I tried again this evening and saw the link for BBM 7, but it shows me "6.2.0.44 Installed".
I thought if I delete BBM I could installed BBM 7. So I went to Options > Device > Application Management and deleted BBM 6.2.0.44. When I try to download from App World, it shows "BlackBerry Messenger 6.2.0.44 - Installed" and doesn't give me an option to download.
I tried www.blackberry.com/messenger but it says "The device is not supported". I don't have the icon anymore. I tried a alt+shift+del restart, then a battery pull but still the same thing. I even connected the device to my computer and used device software to try and backup, but Blackberry Messenger lists as a "read-only" and cannot be restored.
HELP! Tell me what I can do apart from a device format. ![]()

I recently upgraded to the new BBM Voice Application and I'm experiencing two problems.
1. I keep getting an alert saying that I need to be connected to wi-fi in order to use the voice calling feature, yet I am connected to wi-fi
2. With the new upgrade I backed up my phone and everything is backed up BUT BBM.
So I am unable to back up the BBM portion.
If you could assist that would be much appreciated.
