Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

Tried to upgrade to BBM 7, downloaded fine. When I tried to initially set up the application "Temporary BBM Service Error has ocurred" I'm signed in fine on Blackberry ID so that is not the issue. Deleted and downloaded the app several times to no avail... Anyone help?

I don't understand that question, to see the mobile provider?

As far as i can see, BBM7 is available on Vodacom and MTN, I don't see CellC listed, do you?

Lewis, in what country and mobile provider are you using?

In your profile here you have your name as your mobile provider/carrier. That doesn't make sense.

Sorry I am new to this site, I have only registered to try solving this issue. I am in the UK (England) on Vodafone UK service provider. But the phone (Bold 9900) I found in Amsterdam so unsure of where the phone was originally from. Not sure if that is of any relevance?

Yes pretty much, but this was April last year, I have had no issues until now. I just simply inserted my sim card when I returned to the UK and it has funtioned perfectly since. The phone is well maintained, up to date with OS 7.1. There is no branding I can see on the case. I have now deleted the BBM 7 and have revert back to the old BBM 6 as it would not let me access the BBM 7 due the temporary server issue which I mentioned. The blackberry internet service says mobile network, I have also tried downloading and accessing BBM7 over WiFi and encountered the same problem. Is there any obvious reason for my problem. Any help is much appreciated.

And, it's worked well in the past, for you. Ok.

There is no reason your BBM7 should not be working, I'd suggest trying the download again real soon.

I have just tried to download it again with the same outcome. I get to the point where it is connecting the blackberryID to the BBM and I get the temporary service error again. Think I'll just stick to BBM 6, but thanks for your time and assistance
