Contact your carrier and make sure you're on the correct data plan for your device. No BB logo means no connection to BlackBerry data. Without that you'll never get BBM working.

That is the reason i have deleted it and followed the instructions in the second forum listing to install BBM6.
Muy phone is a work device. I do not need or want a blackberry ID tied to my phone. If I cannot use BBM without having a blackberry ID then I would rather delete it and not have it available.
Just because Apple insists on requireing indentured servitude (registering as an Apple slave) does NOT mean it is a good idea.
I know Microsoft is tryingto follow the same arrogant stupidity for Windows 8..
Windows 7 may be the last version of windows on my home computers for that reason.
My Blackberry already has a phone number and a PIN associated with it.
