I was pretty excited to learn that the new OS is available but i found out after updating the new OS that there are few important things missing on my PB. It's just me or what? I am missing powerpoint which I use a lot, video chat is gone as well and even the default pictures were not there anymore.. do you have any idea guys? BB support promise to get back to me after 24 to 48 hours..

Hi, i wont be writing this if I have the power point support, or the video chat or the wallpapers. I upgraded my PB to OS2.0 yesterday after doing security wipe so I am sure am not running the the beta version. On my docs to go there are 2 icons, the word and sheet no slides. Video chat icon is hard to miss and my pictures folder is totally empty.

Other apps were there incliding the new ones, calendar, messages contacts.. but video chat, podcast, slide were gone, and wallpaper is gone. i have the lastest OS version. Oh when you did the security wipe, it uploads the new version of OS, i am doing it right actually.

If you wiped your data you won't have any PP files on the PB. so it won't be visible. My understanding is that you can't create PP files on thePB but can create a file on your computer then transfer to your PB for editing and viewing.

The security wipe does have a lot of impact on the missing apps (icons) be cause I also did the security wipe. ALL MISSING ICONS the original poster mentioned also missing on my PlayBook. There is no trace of them just as he said. The red Power Off icon was gone also. But as someone mentioned somewhere that RIM took that away in OS 2.0 WITHOUT telling us one word, of course.
