I will...nothing would make me happier...don't get me wrong everyone I have dealt with was nice then they disappear and shoot back an email telling me to see the other company.  RIM says SHAPE has to take care of it and SHAPE says RIM has to take care of it...meanwhile I'm out 20 bucks and don't have the application that I really want.  I actually had a customer service person at RIM disconnect me and tell me through an email that he could not contact me even after taking my phone number.  Come on.

I just got another response from Shape telling me my license information "may be in MyWorld"...unfortunately it is not!  Any problems to contact RIM at Blackberry Support.  That is why I am here.  The way I see it there is no solution now.  I have read many many posts here and have tried everything. The quality vendors simply give people like me a license number so they can keep their good name.  Shape will not.  They are waiting for RIM to solve the problem on their own.  I would discourage anyone from buying anything until this is resolved.

ok, so if you open MyWorld in AppWorld, what is there? Is the app listed in MyWorld at all, or it is listed and not the key you need?

 

Can you post a screenshot of your MyWorld view?

Oh come on man, you haven't been a victim of fraud or illegal practices (I read your link). Right now, two weeks after the fact, at the most, you are a victim of extremely bad customer support (which is indeed unfortunate on Shape's behalf).

 

And this really is a matter for Shape, not RIM, at this point. Why are you threatening all this on the BlackBerry Support Forums? I know you purchased tha application through AppWorld, and you have had an offer of help on this forum (and in my opinion, your threats here don't exactly encourage anyone to help you, I think it causes just the opposite).

 

If you go file a complaint with your Attorney General, it'll be weeks before you hear anything back from them. Combined with the fact that RIM is a Canadian company, what does that get you, here? People were trying to help you here, and back you come to kick them in the teeth with additonal threats.

 

Have you filed the PayPal dispute as you were advised? What says PayPal?

 

And have you followed up with Shape on their asking you check your MyWorld?

They ARE responding, aren't they... or you would not have heard anything at this point.

By the way, when you are told to contact BlackBerry Support, you need to go beyond the Forums, you should actually be contacting BlackBerry directly.

 

Have you tried sending a message through this link yet? https://www.blackberry.com/CSOHelp/index.do?ft=generic

 

From the drop-down menu, select the correct App World Support.  Include information such as your PayPal confirmation number and the message you received from Shape (should be accessible via your PayPal account if you do not have the email).

 

You can't get angry when you don't try the correct routes for help.
