Problem connecting apps to BBM

Hi,

I have trouble connecting my apps to BBM. It get stuck on step 2 and says "There's insufficient network coverage to proceed with BBM connection. Please try again later."

I've tried to uninstall and to re-install the apps, nothing changes. I can use my BBM to talk to my friends so BBM is working and I can't figure out what is wrong with it... Help me please !

Re: Problem connecting apps to BBM

While you might have already tried this, can you do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, try to connect an app again?

Also, what version of BlackBerry Messenger are you running?

I'm running the v 6.0.0.129. I tried to reboot while powered on but it hasn't worked :smileysad:

Re: Problem connecting apps to BBM

I have the same issue. This all started when RIM went down 2 weeks ago.

Re: Problem connecting apps to BBM

If both users in this thread could perform the following steps, it could get your service back.

1) Register HRT:     (OS5) Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scoll to any line entry and > press the Menu key  > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced... etc.

2) Resend Service Books:   KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Hopefully that will get things going again for you!
