For your BBM Avatar, you can't see it, or your contacts cannot see your avatar?
That is simply a server slowdown, it should appear to others in a few hours. If it does not, try making a simple one character change in your BBMessenger name. For example, if your BBM name were to be "BobSmith", change it to "BobSmith 9800" and that sometimes will initiate the name change AND avatar sync to others.
