Purchased Application asking for Registration Code

Hi,

I have just recently purchased for £2.09 an SMS COUNTER for Blackberry 9700. It worked as a trial for 2 days (even though i assumed it would be the legit thing straight away as i paid money for it) and now its asking for a registration code. But i have not been sent one?

Anyone know what i can do here? As im annoyed that iv paid money for it and it not work.

Help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Hi there!

For registration key information, see this KB:

We have the same issue, and although we purchased BeamReader PDF Viewer, there is no code.  ???

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Sorry...I can't tell from your words...what, exactly, do you see when you follow the instructions in the above-linked KB?

Good luck and let us know!

Re: Purchased Application asking for Registration Code

We see the application name, version number, etc.  There is no code.  It says "Trial version."

We had to reinstall the application some time ago and did not have the code at that time, either.  Any suggestions?

Then you are not getting the proper download, I suspect (I don't have that app, so I can only suppose here...). What does AW say about the app? Does it say that it's a Trial Version or a full version?

So you had a full version at one time? With a code? Sorry...I'm not quite understanding what you say...

Have you considered contacting the app developer? Sometimes, they have problems properly pushing things through AW...but only the app developer can escalate such issues (they have a dedicated "vendor portal" into RIM that the consumer does not have access to). Often, reputable app developers will provide a work around to gain access to what their customers have purchased (with purchase records provided, of course).

Cheers!

Re: Purchased Application asking for Registration Code

We are also working with the app company.  We thought maybe Blackberry would have a workaround.  Will keep you posted.

Ahhhh...then I fear you may misunderstand the purpose and use of these forums. These forums are a user-to-user community. They are not a channel for any support from nor communication with RIM (the company that makes BBs).

Good luck!
