Three Playbook apps I purchased (Dead Space, Madden and SimCity), are not showing up in the Uninstalled list in App World so I am unable to reinstall them. How can I get them back?

Yeah it's the same BBID, and they do show up in my list when I log in on the PC - it's very odd.

I had the same problem with 2 Apps
the issue is not the APP Developer but Blackberrry App World
If you find yourself with missing APP after uninstall simple go back to the original APP purchase page and
1. select purchase
2. confirm login
3. result: APP World will indicate you already purchased the App
4. from there you will be allowed to re-install
it is pain in the Asss but it works
This proceedure was verified By BlackBerry Support (phone call) we walked through teh proceedure because I was concerned about re-purchase...that is not the case
RUN BACKUP FROM DESKTOP MANAGER AND YOU'LL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS ABOUT LOST APPS
Hope this helps

I wouldn't argue with Scott's advice to back up, but I found the Tech Support woman's comment suspicious, as I think we'd have known of that already if there were such a limit.
I just reinstalled my own White Noise app, which I'd already uninstalled and installed at least a few times.
I uninstalled, reinstalled... did it five more times. One last install works fine here, so I've probably done at least 10 installs of that app. No "limit of 5 downloads" in sight yet.
I think we can probably discount this tech support person, just as we discounted the one who said some time late last April that no, the PlayBook did not in fact have a GPS. ;-)

I had same issue, here is what worked for me.
1 - On playbook open APP WORLD.
2 - Then open MY WORLD link.
3 - Tap on the REFRESH LIST button.
A window will pop up telling you to wait for the update. After update has been made a 2nd window will appear and you should now be able to see the missing apps in your uninstalled list.

The problem turned out to be that EA had sent different versions of the apps to different countries' app stores, so as I bought the apps in one country, when App World was connected in a different country it didn't recognise the apps as having been installed, as it considers, for example, Dead Space US as a different app from Dead Space UK. This only seemed to be a problem with EA apps for me.
I contacted App World billing support and they told me to buy the apps again and send the receipts for a refund.
