Hello all!
For those using QuickPull Pro, the developer has released update 3.5.1. The main fix that I've seen so far is that it can now reboot even if the BB is locked (as with mine, via full device password). I did notice that, when I attempted to use it first thing after the reboot, the keyboard on mine (Storm -- virtual KB) would not operate properly and kept accepting the password entry too soon -- resulting in "Incorrect Password". After three failed attempts of that, I did a batt-pull and that has corrected that. I will see tomorrow if this recurs (I have QP run during the night every night).
To obtain 3.5.1, go to the vendor from which you originally obtained it to find the update from them. Be sure to have your original Activation Code handy...the update will require you to re-enter that code.
Cheers!

Update...2 days running with the exact same issue. Now I am wondering if it even rebooted at all while it was locked or simply sat in the endless "Invalid Password' loop. Interestingly it did not wipe my BB in that loop. I'll need to run some controlled tests plus see if there are any secret settings anywhere that will help. I will continue to update this thread with progress...

Update -- just saw that 3.5.4 is released today...hopefully it will cure the problems I was having. I will report back later. (Same activation code guidelines apply, btw.)

Update -- it seems that 3.5.4 has removed the ability (attempted, in my case) to reboot while locked or holstered. Otherwise, it seems fine. The changelogs (if you can call them that) are interesting...in the emails I received notifying me of the update, here is what they said:
3.5.1 (the genesis of this thread):
Developer Message:
* Minor bug fixes and enhancements
* Will now attempt to reboot even while locked or holstered! Yey! You'll still have to manually accept the final confirmation dialog OR wait ~25 minutes afterwhich it will autoreboot (ie. when you're sleeping). This is a system limitation so no hating plx.
3.5.4 (this most recent update):
Developer Message:
var developer = new Joker();
var quickpull = new UberCoolApp();
quickpull.HasBugs = true;
int j = 0;
while i < 58960946059650696
{
developer.sleep();
j++;
}
quickpull.HasBugs = false;
Odd...

Hey since my upgrade , my quick pull pro does not work ... keeps giving error message. you had any problems ?

Well, I was never able to get it to run on schedule when my BB is device password locked...always comes with a message that ~ "the device was locked and would I like to run it now". I get the same thing under 5.0...only a tiny bit different. Before, that message would be in a box near the top of the screen yet the keypad was open (overlapping the message box a bit). Now, the keypad is not open. Subtle, but different.
But, QP does run...I can run manually and (I think) even if I say "yes" to that box...maybe...hmm...I'll need to pay attention tomorrow morning to be sure, but for some reason I recall that this morning I said "yes" and it painted the "your device will reboot in 5 seconds" screen, but it never actually rebooted...I'll need to pay better attention...yeah right, paying attention first thing in the morning!! Like that's gonna happen!
I'll report back tomorrow.
What is the error message you are getting?

Ok, went to quick pull -- disabled compatiability mode.
Then clicked on edit permissions and expand. I had two of them on custom. clicked all to ALLOW. It rebooted. Will see how it does over night!
