sometime ago i asked support if i could run two separate facebook accounts and was told “not supported“ yesterday i upgraded to the new facebook while the old one was open and now have two separate accounts logged in in different names. just thought i would share this as it is very usefull on the playbook

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I don't know who's "support" you are referring to as far as I know multiple accounts have always been supported. See the user guide from v1.7. released 10/2/2009.

It's been a busy day for Facebook questions and Bifocals is not just a nickname!

I haven't tried both accounts on the Playbook with the Facebook 2.0 software yet.  Stick with the answer from the pro's at Blackberry Help. Sorry for the confusion.

I didn't have Facebook open, and was asked to update, and both updated at the same time.....another glitch in the system full of glitches...but hey at least we now have Chuck Norris Facts, and police jokes. I just bought an iPad 2, and now I am truly happy.

actually mine are the same version. for a second my bridge files actually worked. also kudos to bb for having my lock screen rotate FINALLY!!
