ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry

I have the ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry app. My device is a Bold 9650.

When a screenshot is taken, the app tells me that “Screen Shot saved to your media library: file:///SDCard/Blackberry/camera/. The app appears to take screenshots fine, but I am not able to find the screenshot images on my Blackberry.  The screenshots do not appear to be accessible via ‘Media’ then ‘Pictures’.

Specifically, how do I access the screenshots on my data storage card? Thank you.

Please use plain text.

Re: ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry

  • Go to your Media folder.
  • Click the Menu key > Explore.
  • Now, navigate to that location you mentioned > SDCard/Blackberry/camera
  • Look in any subfolders there also.

Re: ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry

Thank you. I tried that...'Media', 'Explore' gives me two choices...'Media Card' and 'Device Memory'.

I chose 'Media Card'. That shows me 'Blackberry' or 'System'.

I chose 'Blackberry'. That shows me a list of folders, one of which is 'pictures', which I choose.

That shows me 'Camera' and all the pictures that are on my phone's media card...BUT, the screenshot images are not in those pictures. If I choose 'Camera', it takes me to my camera function so that I can take a picture. So, I appear to be at a deadend when trying to find the 'screenshot' images that I have taken.

Therein lies my problem. And, again, thank you in advance for your help.

Re: ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry

Keep looking for another folder under Media card > BlackBerry.. perhaps one with the application name.

I use MunchScreen for screen captures, and it creates it's own folder with the name of "ScreenMunch"

Re: ScreenShot Capture for Blackberry

There are not other folders...I've searched high and low.

I'll try the other app you suggest...apparently this one has problem(s).

Thank you.
