Sinc Issue

What does "sinc issue" mean and how do I resolve it? I get the message when I try to download from App World.

Hello,

 

In the public KBs, I don't find anything with "sinc issue" at all...are you sure that's what the message says? It's always best to know the exact and complete content of any error messages...there are just too many possibilities when trying to search with just a hint. You, of course, can search here:

 

And, when you say "download from App World", do you mean via the on-device AW client? Or via PC/browser and USB tether?

Hi,

 

I am attempting to download from BlackBerry Appworld, specifically a FaceBook application. The message says:

 

"Sync Issue - There is an issue connecting to Blackberry App World. Pleasetry again."

 

I downloaded another app earlier, but now I cannot, despite the fact that the site says I am connected.

You skipped my other question...via the on-device AW, or via PC/Browser/USB tether? Whichever one you are trying, please try the other one.
