Hi, I'm hoping someone on here can tell me what the problem is with the above App. I was recommended it by a friend, so I logged onto BB App World website, sent the link to my BB via email. The problem was that once I opened the link it said that the app doesnt support my device or carrier, but I looked on the app details on BB App World, & it says all devices & carriers are supported. Where am I going wrong? Why can't I use this app? My device is a BB Curve 8520...someone please help ![]()

I have BB 9300 on O2 and I have exactly the same problem. Is it my phone or my carrier? This is one of the few apps that I am really interested in.Someone should be able to help surely? Who can I ask - my e-mail to Sky Sports Support was bounced back with an auto response and I couldn't find a suitable place to ask on the link provided.

Yes -why ask you to type in all the blurb on the e-mail first? I followed the form link from Sky's auto response and it just took me onto their support site, where I couldn't find anything. This is so frustrating - there are loads of reviews for it, so somebody must be getting it on their bb. Interestingly, although it shows as available on the internet site, if you go into appworld on the phone, the app isn't showing anywhere. It's only when you follow the link to download do you get an opportunity to download - then you get the error message..

my dad has the BB Bold and has downloaded it there, it just doesn't seem to appear in the curve apps on app world.
It has to be BB problem!!!
Have asked BB help on Twitter they say its the vendor? (whats a vendor??)

Vendor is Supplier. In this case I assume they mean the supplier of the app i.e. B Sky B. I'm not really up on the technologies of Blackberries but the common denominator seems to be that it doesn't work on a Curve. We have at least 3 different networks involved, so the error seems to point to the Device rather then the Carrier. If it doesn't work, there's not much we can do about it, except hope that they develop it further, but at least the description on Appworld should indicate this - rather than saying that "this application supports all devices".

It's not yet available for the 8520. Currently its Bold, Storm, 8900 and Torch only. The appworld web site is a little misleading.

Thanks for clearing that up! It doesn't appear as an option on Appworld on the phone, so I'll keep a look out until it is. Cheers!
