There was a problem during installation of blackberry messenger ( any application). Please try again, this is the message i get anytime i try to download or upgrade any application on my blackberry bold 9870. pls i need your help

i have data plan, i can do every other internet based functions on my phone, the only problem is to download or upgrade applications

On your device, look at Options > Device > Application Management.

What is the version of AppWorld you have installed?

OK, that is almost the latest version... .65 is later.

You can upgrade your AppWorld from using your BlackBerry browser to go to www.blackberry.com/appworld


After you upgrade, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

IF then you don't see or can't find the AppWorld icon, please post back here.

I tried tö download the 65 version, it failed tö download, and it displayed "download failed"

That is the main problem, I can't download any application either from net Or appworld

OK, did you do the device reboot?

 

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

I have done reboot by removing the battery several times, on the service status, i have 3G plus the blackberry logo
