Downloaded applications for BlackBerry® Smartphones and Tablets

Hi, I have a BB Curve 8520 and have downloaded BB App world with no problems.  However when I try to download any apps I get this message -

"There is an issue with bb app world, please try again" 

I have tried uninstalling App World and re-installing it to no avail.

Have also tried taking out and replacing battery a couple of times.

I've been trying to sort this for a couple of weeks and it's driving me crazy so I hope someone can help please.

I saw this but can't explain why you're getting the error:

oh well, try this - downgrade app world:

delete AppWorld on your Blackberry, (options, Advanced , Applications)
Then copy the whole address and paste it in your BB browser.

Thank you for your suggestion Wolf359.  I did as you said but unfortunately it didn't work. 

If you or anyone else has any more suggestions I would be very grateful indeed as this is driving me up the wall!

I can imagine!  You can try doing a software reload to see if this will resolve the issue:
