Hello guys i read too many comment regarding how to use Facebook. Blackberry Apps.. over the WIFI and without Data plan.

here is the solution.

1 - Option - Device - applications management 

2 - select Facebook click on option (blackberry ) 

3 - select Edit Default Permissions 

4 - go to user Data change the Allow by Deny 

5 - save and reboot the phone.

Are you saying through this solution i can use Google talk , twitter on a  regular data plan or wifi? What this feature do?

on Wifi and no need for data plan

I have curve 9300, Os V 6.0.0.527 something.. I just tried your method but it says same service not enabled on Handest even WIFI is connected... anyways Facebook 2.0 works with Wifi by default... do you have any other recommendations>?

i am afraid to say no but it's working perfectly with me useing all the application even the app world. Gtalk facebook twitter yahoo linkedin...

I have the same Os 6 v .526 and platform . 194... The settings which you give not application specific when i select user data to Deny... it deny's all the apps there??? is there way to do one by one..individually?

here i have in my device i have :
Connections : allow
Interactions : Custom
User Data : Deny

after the changing. it will request to reboot the device .
after the reboot you will receive a message saying that the changes have been successfully applied.
