Hello Does anyone know if we can use the old WhatsApp messenger that was on the previous operating systems with the Blackberry Z10. Will this cause harm to the new OS?
I really need WhatsApp on here. It would be great if we can do this.

I got the android version to work on both the playbook and the z10. The problem is that it doesnt read your contacts. On the PB you can actually create the contacts one by one and I've seen some screenshots of people using it. I havent been successful. On the z10 it runs, but when you open up the contacts piece, it gives an error that, that function is not supported by that phone.
I guess you have to wait until valentine's day until the native application is released.

There is a community driven WhatsApp client for the Nokia N9.
It's called Wazapp and since it is based on Qt it should be possible to simply port it to Cascades to get a great working native WhatsApp client: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=84318
